LET US TRUST IN THE LORD AND NOT IN PRINCES

( Psalm 146)

*A.* *DO NOT TRUST IN PRINCES.*( Psalm 146:3)

a) *Who are they?*

1. *They are mortal men.*(146:3 b)

2. *They cannot save.*(146:3 b)

b) *What happens to them?*

1. *When their spirit departs(when they die), they return to the ground.*(146:4 a)

2. *That very day, their plans come to nothing.*(146:4 b)

Many people trust in the princes of this world - rich, powerful and influential people...Let us remember that they all are mortal who can die anytime. What will happen to them, to their wealth or position and to their help after their death?

*B.* *LET US TRUST IN THE LORD.*

a) *Who is the LORD?*

1.*The LORD is the maker of heaven and earth.*(146:6 a)

2. *The LORD is the maker of sea and everything in them.*(146:6 b)

b) *What does he do?*

1. *The LORD remains faithful forever.*(146:6 c)

2. *The LORD upholds the cause of the oppressed.*(146:7 a)

3.*The LORD gives food to the hungry.*(146:7 b)

4.*The LORD sets prisoners free.* (146:7 c)

5. *The LORD gives sight to the blind.* (146:8 a)

6. *The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down.* (146:8 b)

7. *The LORD loves the righteous.* (146:8 c)

8. *The LORD watches over the alien.* (146:9 a)

9. *The LORD sustains the fatherless and the widow.*(146:9 b)

10. *The LORD frustrates the ways of the wicked.* (146:9 c)

11. *The LORD reigns forever.* (146:10)

*C* *What should we do to the LORD?*

a) *Let us trust in the LORD always and in all circumstances.*

There are three words that we must associate with worship: Prostration, Adoration and Exaltation.

💡Ps.150: *There are three words that we must associate with worship, and these three words denote an experience of the human heart and the human soul as it comes into God’s presence to worship.*

*1️⃣The first of these words is prostration.* We talk a great deal about having a dignified service. . We are not trying to insist on a posture of the body, but we do need to have our souls prostrated before God. *The two prominent Bible words are the Hebrew hishtahaweh, meaning “to bow the neck,” and the Greek proskuneo, meaning “to bow the knee” to God.* And today we need to bow before God in heaven. The Book of Revelation does not tell us much about heaven, but one thing we are sure about—every time we read of someone in heaven, they are either getting down on their faces to worship God, or getting up off their faces from worshiping God.

*2️⃣The second word that goes with worship is the word adoration. It is a term of endearment.* Gregory Nazianzen ( a fourth century Archbishop and Theologian) said, “I love God because I know Him; I adore Him because I cannot understand Him; I bow before Him in awe and in worship and adoration.”

*3️⃣Third, there is exaltation in worship.* A life that exalts God is a life that remembers what Jesus did for us on the cross. *Let the cross never gets old for us.* Exalting God starts with guarding our hearts. One of the best ways to guard our hearts is to guard what we see. Let us make a covenant with our eyes to see nothing wicked. As believers in Jesus, our body is where God dwells. We are His temple and therefore are called to honour God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

⛹️‍♂️ *Application* : Ps.146:1- *Not only should we praise God with our lips, but we should genuinely praise Him from the heart.*

💡Ps.147:20- *The nation of Israel is unique. They are the only people given the title “Chosen People.”* They are the only ones made custodians of the revelation of God. In His Word God says He has an eternal purpose for them. *We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for the time that God will fulfil His promise to them.*

*சங்கீதம் 145- 150*

எக்காலத்திலும் கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்போம்

சங்கீதப் புத்தகம், “ *பாக்கியவான்*” என்ற வாக்குத்தத்தத்தோடு ஆரம்பமாகிறது.

(சங். 1:1)

“ *கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்*” என்ற புகழ்ச்சியோடு முடிவடைகிறது. (சங்.150 :6).

எபிரெய பாஷையில் “அல்லேலூயா” என்பது.. கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள் என்பதாகும்.

6 வசனங்களைக் கொண்ட சங்கீதம் 150ல்.. கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள் என்று 11 தடவையும்.. அல்லேலூயா என்று இரண்டு தடவையும்.. மொத்தத்தில் 13 தடவைகள்..

கர்த்தரைத் துதிக்கவேண்டும் என்று.. சங்கீதக்காரன் நமக்குக் கூறுகிறான்.

இதிலிருந்து.. கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்பது என்பது.. நாம் தெரிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டிய ஒன்றல்ல.. அது நமது கடமை.. அது தேவனுடைய சித்தம். தேவன் ஒருவரே துதிக்குப் பாத்திரர்.. நாம் அவரைத் துதிக்கவேண்டுமென்றே, அவர் நம்மைச் சிருஷ்டித்திருக்கிறார்.. ( ஏசா .43 :21 )

இந்தச் சங்கீதத்தில்.. கர்த்தரை எதற்காகத் துதிக்கவேண்டும்.. எப்படித் துதிக்கவேண்டும்.. என்று சொன்ன சங்கீதக்காரன்..

சுவாசமுள்ள யாவும் கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்பதாக என்று கூறுகிறான்.. ( சங்.150 : 6 )

அந்த நாட்களில், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் மட்டுமே.. எருசலேம் தேவாலயத்தில் கர்த்தரைத் துதித்தார்கள்..

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் காலத்திற்குப் பின்.. இரட்சிப்பின் சுவிசேஷம் உலகமெங்கும் எடுத்துச் செல்லப்படும்.. தேவனை, எங்கும் தொழுதுகொள்ளும் காலம் வரும்.. அப்பொழுது எல்லா ஜாதிகளும் கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்பார்கள் என்பதையே இது முன்னறிவிக்கிறது..

இதை மல்கியா தீர்க்கனும் ..

சூரியன் உதிக்கிற திசை தொடங்கி.. அது அஸ்தமிக்கிற திசை வரைக்கும்.. என் நாமம் ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே மகத்துவமாய் இருக்கும்.. எல்லா இடங்களிலும்.. என் நாமத்துக்குத் தூபமும்.. சுத்தமான காணிக்கையும் செலுத்தப்படும்..என்று முன்னறிவிக்கிறான்..

பறவைகளின் பாடல்கள்.. கர்த்தரைத் துதிக்கும்

கீதங்களாயிருக்கிறது..

சர்வ சிருஷ்டிகளும்.. தங்களுக்குத் தெரிந்த பாஷையில் ..தேவனைத் துதிக்கின்றன..

விடியற்காலத்து நட்சத்திரங்கள் ஏகமாய்ப் பாடி.. தேவபுத்திரர் எல்லாரும் கெம்பீரித்தார்களே

என்று..யோபு 38 : 7ல் பார்க்கிறோம்..

இன்று ஆலயத்திற்கு வரும் மக்கள் எல்லோரும் தேவனைத் துதிக்கிறார்களா?

தேவனைத் துதிப்பது ஓர் அன்பின் செயல்பாடு..

உள்ளம் தேவனுடைய அன்பால் நிறைந்திருந்தால்.. உதடுகள் தானாகத் தேவனை துதிக்கும்..

மண்ணான மனிதனுக்கு.. ஜீவ சுவாசம் தந்தவர் தேவன்..

நமது சுவாசம் அவர் கையில் இருக்கிறது..

அதை அவர் வாங்கிக் கொண்டால்.. நாம் மண்தான்..

(சங். 104: 29 )

நாம் ஜீவனோடு இருப்பது.. தேவ கிருபை என்பதை உணர்ந்தால்.. நாம் தேவனைத் துதிக்காமலிருக்கமாட்டோம்..

இந்த உலகத்திலே நாம் துதிக்காமல் இருந்தால்.. துதிகள் நிறைந்த பரலோகத்திற்குச் சென்றபின்.. நாம் தேவனை எப்படித் துதிப்போம்..?

*150 சங்கீதங்களையும் நாம்* *தியானித்தபோது..எந்தச்* *சூழ்நிலையிலும்..கர்த்தரைத்* *துதிக்கும் துதியைத்தான்* *பார்த்தோம்*..

*பிரியமானவர்களே..நாமும்* *கஷ்டங்கள் மத்தியிலே*..

*விசுவாசத்தோடு கர்த்தரைத்* *துதிப்போம்*..

*நிறைவான நேரங்களில்*.. *மகிழ்ச்சியோடு அவரைத்* *துதிப்போம்*..

*பயப்படும் நேரங்களில்*.. *கர்த்தரையே நம்பி* *அவரைத் துதிப்போம்*..

*சிறைச்சாலையில்* *வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த பவுலும்* *சீலாவும்..நடுராத்திரியிலே,* *தேவனைத் துதித்துப்* *பாடினார்கள்..அவர்களுடைய*

*கட்டுகள் கழன்றுபோயிற்று*..

*யுத்தத்திலே,எதிரிகள் முன்* *யோசபாத் ராஜா ..கர்த்தரைப்* *பாடித் துதிக்க பாடகரை*

*நிறுத்தினான்..அங்கே* *மாபெரும் வெற்றி* *உண்டாயிற்று*..

உசிதமான கோதுமை

சங்கீதம் 147: 14. *உசிதமான கோதுமையினால் உன்னை திருப்தியாக்குவார்.*

1. கர்த்தர் எகிப்தின் அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து மீட்ட ஜனங்களை கானான் தேசத்தில் கொண்டு சேர்த்தார்.அதை போலவே பாவத்தின் அடிமைத்தனத்திலிருந்து மீட்ட நம்மை பரம கானான் ஆகிய பரலோக இராஜ்யத்தை சுதந்தரிக்க வழி நடத்துகிறார். இந்த இரட்சிக்கப் பட்ட நம் வாழ்வை சீயோன் என்றும் எருசலேம் என்றும் அழைக்கிறார். *இந்த வாழ்க்கையில் நம்மை உசிதமான கோதுமையினால் போஷிக்கிறார், திருப்தியாக்குகிறார். அப்படியானால் எந்த குறையும் இல்லாமல் ஒரு தகப்பனை போல திருப்தியாக போஷிக்கிறார். நம் சரீரத்தையும், ஆத்துமாவையும் திருப்தியாக்குகிறார்*. இந்த அன்பை உணர்ந்து நாம் நன்றி கூறுவோம்.

2. எப்படிபட்ட கோதுமை ? *உசிதமான, அதாவது முதல் ரகமான கோதுமை*

.

3. *வேதத்தின் அடிப்படையில் கோதுமையின் சிறப்பு என்ன?*

1. *கோதுமை ஒரு தானியம்*. உழப்பட்டு, பண்படுத்தி, நீர்பாய்ச்சின நிலத்தில் கோதுமை விதைக்கப் படுகிறது. இந்த *கோதுமை வசனத்தை குறிக்கிறது.* ஆம், பண்படுத்தப்பட்ட, சுத்திகரிக்கப்பட்ட, இரட்சிக்கப்பட்ட நம் இருதயத்தில், பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவராகிய நீர் பாய்ச்சி கோதுமையாகிய வசனம் விதைக்கப்படும் போது, அது வளர்ந்து நமக்கு உசிதமான கோதுமையை விளைவிக்கிறது. ஆனால், *சத்துருவாகிய பிசாசு இந்த வசனம் ஆகிய கோதுமை நம் இருதயத்தில் செழிப்பாக வளர முடியாத படி நாம் தூங்கும் போது, களைகளை விதைக்கிறான். ஆகவே நம் ஆத்துமா ஜெபத்திலும், வசனத்தை தியானிப்பதிலும், தேவ பிரசன்னத்திலும் விழித்திருக்க வேண்டும்.*

2. இந்த *கோதுமை மாவாக பொடிக்கப் பட்டு, போஜனபலிக்கு உபயோகப் படுத்தப்பட்டது. அப்பமாக சுடப்பட்டு சமூகத்து அப்பங்களாக ஆசரிப்பு கூடாரத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டது.*

3. இன்று *நம்முடைய வாழ்க்கை இந்த உசிதமான கோதுமையாக விளைச்சலை கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.* ஏனென்றால் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின் நாளில் நாம் களஞ்சியமாகிய பரலோக இராஜ்யத்தில் சேர்க்கப் படுவோம். பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவராகிய காற்று வீசும் போது, *பதரோ பறக்கடிக்கப்படும. நரகமாகிய அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரிக்க ப் படும்.*

4. மட்டுமல்ல, *கோதுமையை சுளகில் புடைப்பதை போல நம் வாழ்க்கையில் தேவ உத்தரவுடன் சத்துருவாகிய பிசாசு நம்மை சோதிப்பான்*. லூக்கா 22: 31. ஆனால், *நம் தேற்றரவாளனாகிய ஆவியானவரோ நம் விசுவாசம் ஒழிந்து போகாத படி நமக்காக எண்ணிலடங்கா பெருமூச்சுகளுடன் விண்ணப்பிக்கிறார்*. ரோமர் 8:26.

5.ஆம், இரட்சிக்கப்பட்ட நாம், அநேகருக்கு சுவிசேஷத்தை அறிவிக்க வேண்டும். அதை தான் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து *கோதுமை மணி நிலத்தில் விழுந்து சாகா விட்டால் தனித்திருக்கும். செத்ததேயாகில் மிகுந்த பலனை கொடுக்கும்* என்றார். யோவான் 12:24. இதற்காக தான், *நம்மை பரலோகம் கொண்டு சேர்க்கும் படியாய் கிறிஸ்து தன் ஜீவனையே கொடுத்தார்.*

நாமும் கூட ஆத்துமாக்களை இரட்சிப்பிற்கு நேராக வழி நடத்தாமல் வெறும் கையோடு பரலோகம் செல்லாத படி ஆத்துமாக்களுக்கு வசனத்தை விதைப்போம். இந்த செய்தியை கூட உங்கள் குடும்பத்தினருக்கு, நண்பர்களுக்கு அனுப்பி கொடுக்கலாம் அல்லவா? இதற்காக தான் கர்த்தர் நம்மை உசிதமான கோதுமையினால் போஷிக்கிறார், திருப்தியாக்குகிறார். ஆமென். அல்லேலூயா.

☄️ *"யாக்கோபின் தேவனைத் தன் துணையாகக் கொண்டிருந்து, தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மேல் நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கிறவன் பாக்கியவான்."* (சங்கீதம் 146:5).

💥 கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் அவர்களுடைய *பாவத்தின் அவல நிலையிலிருந்து* விடுவிக்கப்பட உதவுகிறார். *அவர்களின் தேவைகளைப் பூர்த்தி செய்து* அவர்களுக்கு உதவுகிறார். அவர்கள் *பலவீனங்கள், சோதனைகள் மற்றும் துன்பங்களில்* இருக்கும்போது அவர்களுக்கு உதவுகிறார். அவர்களுக்கு *நித்திய மகிமையையும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும்* கொடுக்க அவர்களுடைய எல்லா ஆத்தும எதிரிகளையும் ஜெயிக்க உதவுகிறார்.

💥 *நாசியிலே சுவாசமுள்ள மனுஷனை நம்புவதை விட்டுவிடுங்கள்* (ஏசாயா 2:22) என்று வேதம் நமக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறது. மனிதர்கள் நிரந்தரமானவர்களல்ல, அவர்கள் பெலனற்றவர்களும்கூட. *யாக்கோபின் தேவன் நமக்கு அடைக்கலப் பாறையாகவும், பெலனான கோட்டையாகவும், ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் அனுகூலமான துணையாகவும் இருக்கிறார்* (சங்கீதம் 46:1). எனவே, நாம் ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் உதவி செய்யும்படி *ஆண்டவரிடம்தான் கேட்க வேண்டும், ஏனென்றால் மனுஷனுடைய உதவி விருதா* (சங்கீதம் 60:11).

💥 நமது எதிரியான பிசாசு, நம்மீது தாக்குதலை நடத்த தொடர்ந்து வகைதேடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறான். பிசாசு *நாம் விழும்படி பலமுறை நம்மைத் தள்ள முயன்றான், ஆனால் கர்த்தரோ நமக்கு உதவி செய்தார்* (சங்கீதம் 118:13). கர்த்தர் நமக்கு *உதவி செய்திருக்காவிட்டால், நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா இந்நேரம் மவுனத்தில் வாசம் பண்ணியிருக்கும்* (சங்கீதம் 94:17). *கிறிஸ்து ஏற்கனவே இறுதிப் போரில் வெற்றிபெற்றுவிட்டதால்,* அவருடைய பிள்ளைகளாகிய நாமும் அந்த வெற்றிக்குப் பங்காளிகளானதால், *அவருடைய உதவியைச் சார்ந்திருக்கவே* நாம் அனைவரும் அறிவுறுத்தப்படுகிறோம். பிசாசின் தந்திரங்களை முறியடிக்க ஆண்டவர் நமக்குப் பலநேரங்களில் உதவியிருக்கிறார் என்று நாம் அனைவரும் தேவனுடைய மகிமைக்கு சாட்சியமளிக்க முடியுமே.

💥 *நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா கர்த்தருக்காகக் காத்திருக்க வேண்டும்;* அப்போது அவர் தம்முடைய உதவியை நமக்கு அருளுவார் (சங்கீதம் 33:20). கர்த்தர் நம்மேல் இரக்கம் பராட்டி, அவருடைய உதவியை அருளும்வரை, நம் கண்கள் அவரையே நோக்கியிருக்க வேண்டும். சங்கீதக்காரன் அறிவிக்கிறான்: *“இதோ, வேலைக்காரரின் கண்கள் தங்கள் எஜமான்களின் கையை நோக்கியிருக்குமாப்போலவும், வேலைக்காரியின் கண்கள் தன் எஜமாட்டியின் கையை நோக்கியிருக்குமாப்போலவும், எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் எங்களுக்கு இரக்கஞ்செய்யும்வரைக்கும், எங்கள் கண்கள் அவரை நோக்கியிருக்கிறது.”* (சங்கீதம் 123:2). நாம் நம்மைத் தாழ்த்தி, விடாமுயற்சியுடன் ஜெபிக்கும்போது, இரக்கமுள்ள கர்த்தர் தேவையான நேரத்தில் தம்முடைய உதவியை அருளுவார்.

💥 *கர்த்தர் மேல் நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கிறவன் பாக்கியவான்* என்று சங்கீதக்காரன் அறிவிக்கிறான். *“கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கைவைத்து, கர்த்தரைத் தன் நம்பிக்கையாகக்கொண்டிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான். அவன் தண்ணீரண்டையில் நாட்டப்பட்டதும், கால்வாய் ஓரமாகத் தன் வேர்களை விடுகிறதும், உஷ்ணம் வருகிறதைக் காணாமல் இலை பச்சையாயிருக்கிறதும், மழைத்தாழ்ச்சியான வருஷத்திலும் வருத்தமின்றித் தப்பாமல் கனிகொடுக்கிறதுமான மரத்தைப்போலிருப்பான்.”* (எரேமியா 17: 7-8) என்று வேதம் போதிக்கிறது. கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையுள்ளவன் தண்ணீரண்டையில் நாட்டப்பட்ட மரத்தைப்போல இருப்பான். *அவன் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலும், தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையினாலும் போஷிக்கப்பட்டு அதிக கனிகளைக் கொடுப்பான்.* அவன் உஷ்ணத்தை, அதாவது *வாழ்க்கையில் தொல்லைகள் மற்றும் சோதனைகளை*எதிர்கொள்ளும் போது பயப்பட மாட்டான்.

🔹 *நாம் கர்த்தரை நம் துணையாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோமா?*

🔹 *நாம் கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைத்திருக்கிறோமா?*

✅ நாம் கற்றுக் கொள்ளும் *பாடங்கள்*:

1️⃣ *பிசாசின் தந்திரங்களை முறியடிக்க ஆண்டவர் நமக்கு உதவியிருக்கிறார் என்று நாம் அனைவரும் தேவனுடைய மகிமைக்கு சாட்சியமளிக்க முடியும்.*

2️⃣ *நாம் நம்மைத் தாழ்த்தி, விடாமுயற்சியுடன் ஜெபிக்கும்போது, இரக்கமுள்ள கர்த்தர் தேவையான நேரத்தில் தம்முடைய உதவியை அருளுவார்.*

3️⃣ *கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையுள்ளவன் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலும் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையினாலும் போஷிக்கப்பட்டு மிகுந்த கனிகளைக் கொடுப்பான்.*

தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையைப் படித்து தியானிப்பதின் பாக்கியத்துடன் சங்கீதம் தொடங்கியது. *கர்த்தரை துதிப்பதற்கான எளிய ஆனால் முக்கியமான கட்டளையுடன் இந்த சங்கீத புத்தகம் முடிவடைகிறது.* சங்கீதங்களின் 150 அத்தியாயங்கள் வழியான பயணம் *மகிழ்ச்சி மற்றும் விரக்தியின் கூக்குரல்கள்* நிறைந்தது. ஆனால் இறுதியில் மிகவும் அவசியமான விஷயம் கர்த்தரை துதிப்பது தான்.

📖 *“சுவாசமுள்ள யாவும் கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்பதாக. அல்லேலூயா.” (சங்‬ ‭150‬:‭6‬)*

தேவாதி தேவனை துதிப்பதற்கு உயிருடன் இருப்பது மட்டுமே போதுமானது. எப்படியிருந்தாலும், நம்முடைய சூழ்நிலையைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல், நாம் தேவனைத் துதிக்க வேண்டும். *சொல்களாலும் பாடல்களாலும் தேவனைத் துதிப்பது ஆராதனையாகும்*. கர்த்தரை துதிப்பது அவ்வளவு கடினமா? *நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு துதியையும் மகிமையையும் செலுத்தி நம் நாட்களை ஏன் செலவிடக்கூடாது?*

(Psalms 145 to 150) *We are called to sing for joy even on our beds and to have the high praises of God always in our mouth and the word of God in our hands to bind the power and activities of Satan and his demons (verses 5-8). Praise to God and binding Satan's power always go together.*

Psalm 145 is a psalm of praise to the Lord for His greatness. "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him. He will fulfil the desire of those who fear Him" (verses 18, 19).

Psalm 146: The last five psalms are psalms of praise. This one praises the Lord for His creative power and His goodness and urges us not to trust in any mortal man, not even in princes (verse 3).

Psalm 147 also praises the Lord for His works in creation. He also heals the broken-hearted (verse 3). "He builds the church." He does many wonderful things.

Psalm 148: Here all of creation is urged to praise the Lord.

Psalm 149 invites us to praise the Lord at all times. "He will beautify the humble with salvation” (verse 4). If you want the Lord to beautify you, you must be humble.

We are called to sing for joy even on our beds and to have the high praises of God always in our mouth and the word of God in our hands to bind the power and activities of Satan and his demons (verses 5-8).

Praise to God and binding Satan's power always go together.

Psalm 150: This is the grand finale. Thirteen times we read the word "praise" in this psalm, concluding with "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord” (verse 6).

There is only one type of person who does not have to praise God - the one who cannot breathe, the dead.

All the rest must keep praising the Lord at all times. May it be so in our lives. Amen.
