★ தன் மனைவியாகிய யேசபேல் தூண்டிவிட்ட படியே, கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்ய தன்னை விற்றுப் போட்ட ஆகாபைப் போல

ஒருவனுமில்லை.

*ஆகாப்/யேசபேல்* தம்பதிகளைக் குறித்து வாசித்தோம்.

★நாபோத் கர்த்தரால் தன் குடும்பத்துக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட பூர்வீக நிலத்தை ஆகாபுக்கு கொடுக்க விரும்பவில்லை. இது ஆகாபுக்குக் கோபத்தையும் சலிப்பையும் உண்டாக்கியது.

★ இதற்காக நாபோத்தைக் குடும்பத்தோடு கொலை செய்வதற்கு யேசபேல்

நடத்திய சதித்திட்டம் குறித்து வாசித்தோம்.

★ கணவனுக்கு நல்ல ஆலோசனைகள் சொல்லிக் கொடுக்காமல் பயங்கரமான பெண்ணாக காணப்பட்டாள்.

★ நாபால் /அபிகாயில் என்ற கணவன் மனைவி குறித்து நாம் ஏற்கனவே 1சாமுவேல்: 25 ம் அதிகாரத்தில் வாசித்தோம் அல்லவா? முரட்டு கணவரின் தவறுகளுக்காக தாவீது இராஜாவிடம் சமாதான பேச்சு வார்த்தை நடத்தி ஒரு யுத்தத்திலிருந்து எல்லாரையும் காக்கும் அளவிற்கு நல்ல தன்மையோடு நடந்து கொண்டாள் அபிகாயில்.

இங்கு யேசபேல் நடந்து கொண்ட விதம் பார்த்தீர்களா?

★யேசபேல் போன்ற பெண்கள் இன்று சமுதாயத்திலும் குடும்பங்களிலும் இருக்கிறார்கள் அல்லவா?

★*ஆவதும் பெண்ணாலே; அழிவதும் பெண்ணாலே*.

குடும்பங்களில், சமுதாயத்தில் அமைதியை கெடுக்கும் வகையில் பெண்கள் நடந்து கொள்ளாமல் சமாதானத்தை உண்டு பண்ணுகிறவர்களாக பெண்கள் விளங்க வேண்டும்.

*மங்கையராகப்பிறப்பதற்கு மாதவம் செய்திட வேண்டும்*.

*பெண்கள் நாட்டின் கண்கள்*.

இது போன்ற வார்த்தைகளுக்கு தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக பெண்கள் நடந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்.

*புத்தியுள்ள ஸ்திரீ தன் வீட்டைக் கட்டுகிறாள்* *புத்தியில்லா ஸ்திரீயோ அதை இடித்துப் போடுகிறாள்*.

*குணசாலியான ஸ்திரீயின் விலை முத்துக்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் உயர்ந்தது*.

*கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற ஸ்திரீயே புகழப்படுவாள்*.

🌈 *The one who is effective in prayer and successful in seeking the power of the Lord isn’t the one who prays lofty and lengthy prayers. It’s the one who has the heart of a servant and who stands on the Word.*

🌈 *Application* : I Ki.18:36-38- *Our attention is called to three characteristics of Elijah’s prayer… First, it was abbreviated.* Our prayers needn’t be lengthy, but they must be constant. Elijah’s prayer took less than twelve seconds to pray. *Secondly, notice Elijah’s attitude. “I am Thy servant,” he said. “I’m not here to dictate to You.* I’m not here to try and press my point. I am simply Your servant.” *Finally, notice Elijah’s authority. “I have done these things at Thy Word,” he said.* In John 15, Jesus said that if we abide in Him and His words abide in us, we will ask what we will and it will be done. *The one who is effective in prayer and successful in seeking the power of the Lord isn’t the one who prays lofty and lengthy prayers. It’s the one who has the heart of a servant and who stands on the Word.*

💡I Ki.19:12- After the earthquake there was a fire. After all, Elijah was the man who brought fire down from heaven on Mount Carmel. God was not in the strong wind, nor the earthquake, nor the fire. After the fire came a still, small voice. If there was one thing that Elijah did not like, it was a still, small voice. *Elijah had to learn that God moves in a quiet way—how wonderful it is to see God moving in this way. God was teaching Elijah a great lesson. The battle was not actually won on top of Mount Carmel by fire coming down from heaven. God moves in mysterious and unostentatious ways His wonders to perform. God moves in a quiet way. God uses little things to accomplish His purpose. As someone has said, “Great doors are swung on little hinges.” God uses small things to open mighty doors. That is what Elijah had to learn.*

💥 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God (1 Kings 18:37)

💥 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel (1Sam 17:46)

💥 O Lord our God, I pray, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord God, You alone (2 Kings 19:19)

💥 I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me (John 11:42)

🔸 எலியா முதலில் ஆசகேலையோ யெகூவையோ அபிஷேகம் செய்யப் போகவில்லை. அவர் வரிசையை மாற்றி, பட்டியலில் கடைசியில் இருந்த எலிசாவிடம் போனான். எலிசா அவனுக்கு உதவியாளனாகவும் வாரிசாகவும் இருக்கப்போவதால் அவன்தான் மிகவும் அவசியமானவன் என்று நினைத்திருக்கலாம். அவன் எலிசாவை *பன்னிரண்டு ஏர்பூட்டி உழுது கொண்டிருந்தபோது கண்டுபிடித்து, அவன்மேல் தன் சால்வையைப் போட்டான்.* இது ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியாக எலிசாவை அழைத்ததற்கு அடையாளமாகும்.

🔸 எலிசா உடனடியாக அழைப்பை ஏற்று, அவன் மாடுகளை விட்டுவிட்டு, எலியாவின் பிறகே ஓடினான். மாடுகளை விட்டுவிட்டதன் மூலம் அவன் புதிய பணிக்கான *தன் முழு ஈடுபாட்டை* நிரூபித்தான் என அறிகிறோம். எலிசா எலியாவிடம் தன் தகப்பனையும் தாயையும் முத்தஞ்செய்தபின் அவனைப் *பின்தொடர உத்தரவுகொடுக்கும்படி கேட்டுக் கொண்டான்.* எலியா இந்தக் கோரிக்கைக்கு சம்மதித்து, *தான் அவனுக்குச் செய்ததை நினைத்துக்கொள்ள* அறிவுறுத்தினான்.

🔸 இரண்டு விஷயங்களை நாம் தியானிக்கலாம்.

▪️ எலிசா, *"நான் உம்மைப் பின்தொடர்வேன்."* என்றான்.

▪️ எலியா, *"நான் உனக்குச் செய்ததை நினைத்துக்கொள்.”* என்றான்.

🔸 சில ஆவிக்குரிய உண்மைகளை நாம் அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். நாம் இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்ற அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம்; அவரைப் பின்பற்ற முடிவு செய்துள்ளோம். *அவர் நமக்கு என்ன செய்தார்* என்பதை நாம் முழுமையாக உணர்ந்து கொண்டால் மட்டுமே நாம் அவரை *முழு மனதுடன் பின்பற்ற முடியும்.*

▶️ *நான் உனக்குச் செய்ததை நினைத்துக்கொள்*

🔸 *"ஒரு காலத்தில் நாம் பாவத்திற்கு அடிமையாக இருந்தோம்."* (ரோமர் 6:17). *"பாவத்தின் சம்பளம் மரணம்"* (ரோமர் 6:23). *"நாம் பாவிகளாயிருக்கையில் கிறிஸ்து நமக்காக மரித்ததினாலே, தேவன் நம்மேல் வைத்த தமது அன்பை விளங்கப்பண்ணுகிறார்."* (ரோமர் 5:8). *"நாம் கிரயத்துக்குக் கொள்ளப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம்."* (1 கொரிந்தியர் 6:20). *"அவர் நம்மைச் சகல அக்கிரமங்களினின்று மீட்டுக்கொண்டு, தமக்குரிய சொந்த ஜனங்களாகவும், நற்கிரியைகளைச் செய்ய பக்திவைராக்கியமுள்ளவர்களாகவும் நம்மைச் சுத்திகரிக்கும்படி, நமக்காகத் தம்மைத்தாமே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்."* (தீத்து 2:14).

▶️ *நான் உம்மைப் பின்தொடர்வேன்*

🔸 நாம் இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்ற விரும்பினால், அவர் வைத்துள்ள நிபந்தனைகளை நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும். இயேசு ஜனங்களையும் தம்முடைய சீஷர்களையும் தம்மிடத்தில் அழைத்து: *ஒருவன் என் பின்னே வர விரும்பினால், அவன் தன்னைத்தான் வெறுத்து, தன் சிலுவையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு என்னைப் பின்பற்றக்கடவன்.”* (மாற்கு 8:34) என்றார். இயேசுவைப் பின்தொடர, நாம் நம்மையே வெறுத்து நம் சிலுவையைச் சுமக்க வேண்டும். இதன் பொருள், நாம் நமது சொந்த வழிகளை விட்டுவிட வேண்டும், நமது சொந்த உரிமைகள் மற்றும் நலன்களைத் தியாகம் செய்ய வேண்டும், மிகுந்த பொருளைத் தேடுவதை நிறுத்த வேண்டும். வேறு வார்த்தைகளில் கூறுவதானால், *அவருடைய வார்த்தையின்படி நம்முடைய எண்ணங்கள், வார்த்தைகள், செயல்கள் எல்லாவற்றிலிலும் இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றுவதற்கு உண்மையாக முயற்சி செய்ய வேண்டும்.*

🔸 இயேசு நம்மை அழைக்கிறார்: *"ஒருவன் எனக்கு ஊழியம் செய்கிறவனானால் என்னைப் பின்பற்றட்டும், நான் எங்கே இருக்கிறேனோ அங்கே என் ஊழியக்காரனும் இருப்பான்.”* (யோவான் 12:26). நாம் இயேசுவை உண்மையாகப் பின்பற்றும்போது, நாம் அவருக்கு ஊழியம் செய்கிறவர்களாயிருக்கிறோம். இது அவர் இருக்கும் இடத்தில் நாம் அவரோடுகூட இருக்க நமக்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுக்கிறது. எவ்வளவு பெரிய சிலாக்கியம் இது!

🔹 *இயேசு நமக்காக செய்த அனைத்திற்காகவும் நாம் அவருக்கு நன்றியுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கிறோமா?*

🔹 *நாம் உண்மையிலேயே நம்மை வெறுத்து, நம் சிலுவையை சுமந்துகொண்டு, இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றுகிறோமா?*

✅ நாம் கற்றுக் கொள்ளும் *பாடங்கள்*:

1️⃣ *இயேசு நமக்கு என்ன செய்தார் என்பதை நாம் முழுமையாக உணர்ந்து கொண்டால் மட்டுமே நாம் அவரை முழு மனதுடன் பின்பற்ற முடியும்.*

2️⃣ *இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்ற விரும்புகிறவன், தன்னைத்தான் வெறுத்து, தன் சிலுவையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு அவரைப் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும்*.

3️⃣ *நாம் இயேசுவை உண்மையாகப் பின்பற்றும்போது, நாம் அவருக்கு ஊழியம் செய்கிறவர்களாயிருக்கிறோம். இது அவர் இருக்கும் இடத்தில் நாம் அவரோடுகூட இருக்க நமக்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுக்கிறது.*

"அவர்களில் ஒருவரும் தப்ப வேண்டாம்".

🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 தீர்க்கதரிசி எலியாவின் ஜெபத்திற்குப் பதில் கிடைத்ததும், வானத்திலிருந்து அக்கினி எல்லா மக்கள் முன்னிலையிலும் பலியை எரித்தது.

அவர் கூடியிருந்த இஸ்ரவேலர்களை பாகாலின் ஆசாரியர்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு, "அவர்களில் ஒருவரும் தப்ப வேண்டாம்" என்று கூறினார்.

அவர் அனைவரையும் கீசோன் ஆற்றுக்குக் கொண்டுபோய் அங்கே கொன்றுபோட்டார்.

இயேசு நமது வல்லமையாக இருப்பார்.

இறுதிவரை நம்முடன் இருப்பேன் என்று உறுதியளித்தார்.

நாம் இருளில் வெற்றி பெற்றால், நீதியின் சூரியனை நோக்கி முன்னேறுவோம்.

நம் கடவுளிடம் நெருங்குவோம்.

பெருமழையின் இரைச்சல்*

1 இராஜாக்கள் 18: 41 - 46.

1. எலியா பாகாலின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் அனைவரையும் கொன்ற பின், *தைரியத்தோடு* ஆகாபிடம் நீர் போம், போஜன பானம் பண்ணும். *பெரு மழையின் இரைச்சல் கேட்கிறது.* என்றார்.

மழை மேகம் கூட காணப்படவில்லையே. மழை பெய்யவில்லையே. அப்படியானால் இந்த மழை இரைச்சல் கேட்கிறது என்று கூறினாரே. அது எப்படி? *அவருடைய விசுவாச செவிகள் மழை இரைச்சலை கேட்டது.* ஆம், விசுவாச கண்கள், செவிகள், இருதயம் , வாய் நமக்கு இருக்க வேண்டும்.

2. எலியா கர்மேல் பர்வதத்தின் சிகரத்தில் ஏறினார். தேவ பிரசன்னத்தில் ஏறினார். கர்த்தரே தெய்வம் என ஜனங்களுக்கும், ஆகாபுக்கும் காண்பித்து, பாகாலின் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளை கொன்று போட்டு *எவ்வளவு களைப்பாய் எலியா இருந்திருப்பார்! ஆனாலும் மலையுச்சிக்கு, தேவ பிரசன்னத்திற்கு எலியா ஏறுகிறார்.* அப்படியானால் எலியா கர்த்தர் சொன்ன காரியத்தை செய்து முடிக்க வைராக்கியமாயிருந்தார்.

3. *தேவ பிரசன்னத்தில் ஏறின எலியா, முதலாவது தரையிலே பணிந்து, தன் முகம் தன் முழங்காலில் பட குனிகிறார். அதவாது தன்னை தாழ்த்தி, கர்த்தரை தொழுது கொள்கிறார்.*

நாமும் கூட *தேவ பிரசன்னத்தில் வரும் போது, முதலாவது நம்மை தாழ்த்த வேண்டும். அவரை ஆராதிக்க, தொழுது கொள்ள வேண்டும்.*

4. தன் ஊழியக்காரனை சமுத்திர முகமாய் போய் பார்க்க சொன்னான். அவனோ ஒன்றுமில்லை என்றான். அப்பொழுது ஏழு தடவை பார் என்றார். ஆம், *ஏழாம் தடவையோ உள்ளங்கை அளவு சிறிய மேகம் எழும்புகிறது* என்றான்.

*ஏழு என்பது பரிபூரணத்தை, முழுமையை குறிக்கிறது. அப்படியானால் நாம் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைக்கு முழுவதுமாய் கீழ்ப்படியும் போது தான் பெரு மழையின் அபிஷேகம், ஆசீர்வாதம் நம் வாழ்க்கையில் ஏற்படும்.*

நாகமான் கூட ஏழு தடவை கர்த்தர் குறிப்பிட்ட யோர்தானில் முங்கின போது தான் குஷ்டரோகம் குணமாகி, சிறுபிள்ளையின் தோல் உண்டானது.

ஆம், *அரை குறையான கீழ்ப்படிதல் அல்ல, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தைக்கு முழுவதுமாய் நாம் கீழ்ப்படிந்து, நம் வாழ்க்கையில் ஆவியானவரின் அபிஷேகத்தை, பெருமழையின் ஆசீர்வாதத்தை பெற்றுக் கொள்வோம்.*

5. மழை தடை செய்யாத படி இரதத்தை பூட்டி போய்விடும் என ஆகாபுக்கு எலியா சொல்லி அனுப்புகிறார். ஆனால் *கர்த்தருடைய கை எலியாவோடு இருந்ததால், எலியா தன் அரையை கட்டி கொண்டு ஆகாபுக்கு முன் ஓடினார்.* ஆச்சரியமாயிருக்கிறதல்லவா?

ஆம், *கர்த்தருடைய கை நம்மோடிருந்தால் நம் சத்துருக்களை விட, அவன் இரதத்தை விட, நம்மால் வேகமாக ஓட முடியும். ஆனால் நம் அரை சத்தியம் அதாவது வசனம் என்னும் கச்சையால் கட்டப்பட வேண்டும்*

6.*மேகம், காற்று, பெரு மழை நம் வாழ்க்கையில் வரும் போது, நனைக்கும் போது, செழிப்பு உண்டாகும். தோட்டத்தில் புஷ்பங்கள் மலரும். வாசனை, சாட்சியின் ஜீவியம் உண்டாகும். கர்த்தர் நாமம் மகிமைப்படும். கனிகள் உண்டாகும். கனிகள் நம்மையும் பிறரையும் போஷிக்கும்*.

ஆம், கர்த்தர் தாமே நம் வாழ்க்கையை மேகம், காற்று, பெரு மழையாகிய அபிஷேகத்தால் ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக. சத்துருவை விட வேகமாக ஓடி ஜெயிக்க உதவி செய்வாராக. ஆமென். அல்லேலூயா.

1 Kings 18-20

Chapter 18 is one of the most spectacular chapters in the Scriptures. Elijah challenges the prophets of Baal to a contest to determine who is really God. The prophets of Baal-all,450 of them are about an even match for Elijah who is a great prophet. God is ready to use Elijah. He has learned that he is nothing and God is everything. He goes out to meet Ahab, and he is prepared. From verses 3-6 famine was now in acute stage. Much of the vegetation had dried up and the cattle could no longer find place to graze. So Ahab and his servant Obadiah, set out in search of possible pasture land. Abhab went one direction and Obadiah went another. Now Obadiah was the Governor of Ahab's palace. H.e was a God fearing man, and he had hidden one hundred prophets of God from Jezebel's wrath. In verse 17-18 Elijah said to Ahab, "I am not the one who is troubling-you are!" Elijah's kind of preaching cannot be misunderstood. It is not double talk; it is talks like it is. Ahab blames Elijah for the problem in the land. He acuses Elijah for stirring things up. The Word of God will always stir up things. Then Elijah challenged Ahab to a contest between himself and the prophets of Baal. The contest was actually one between the Lord and Satan-between worship of the living God and the worship of Baal. Outwardly it was a battle of Ahab and Jezebel with the 450 prophets against Elijah. Elijah however, was worth a whole army. Elijah knew what was in the hearts of the people, that they were pretending to worship the living God, but they were also worshipping Baal. The reason the people did not answer Elijah is that they were guilty of sin. Then said Elijah said unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men (18:22). From verses 25-28 the prophets of Baal put on quite a performance. Elijah just sits there and watches them at first with a good deal of cynicism. They begin to call upon Baal. Nothing happens. They display a lot of emotion. Finally they begin to cut themselves and blood gushes out. They are sure this will stir Baal to action. Old Elijah says to them, "Say, it may be that he has gone on vacation and you will have to wait until he comes back. Or may be he is taking his afternoon siesta and you are going to have to yell louder to wake him up." Elijah stood alone. He did not voice public opinion. He was no echo, he was no parrot. He was not promoting anyone else. He was no politician. He was more concerned about pleasing God than courting the popularity of the crowd. He sought divine approval rather than public applause. He was not a clown in a public parade. He was a fool for God's sake. He was a solo voice in the wilderness of the world. He put on an all-out war against Satan and his hosts. He stood alone, arrayed against the prophets of Baal. Elijah chose Mount Carmel to take a dramatic stand for God. From verses 29-30 Elijah is now going to have to depend on God. The Altar of the Lord has been broken, and Elijah spends sometime cementing it together. In verses 31-33 notice that Israel was one nation. It was not Israel and Judah, or Samaria and Jerusalem, but all twelve tribes are one nation, Israel. So Elijah built Altar in the name of the Lord. Then he made a trench around the Altar put the wood in it, and cut the bullock in pieces. Finally he ordered four Barrels be filled with water and poured on the sacrifice that was on the wood. Verses 34-35 they fetched water at once, and Elijah said, "Go down and fill it again." Do it a third time and they did it thrice. Elijah knew that if anything was to be done, God has to do it. Yes it's time we recognize that if God doesn't do it, it is not going to be done. This is one of the great prayers of Scripture, it is not long it is great. He said, "Lord God of Abraham, Issac and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. (18:36). We need to be sure that what we are doing is according to the will of God. Don't do something you want to do and then ask God to bless it. God doesn't move that way. You have to go His route if you want to receive the blessing. We have no right to demand anything of God. He will not come to your command. We are to pray according to His will. Elijah is praying for the Glory of God in verse 37. That is what moves the arms of God. From verse 42-45 Elijah was a great man! And so that the people may realize that the drought was not just an accident of nature, it ended the same way that it had begun by the command of God's man, Elijah. Elijah said that rain was coming, but at first nothing could be seen. When his servant looked for the seventh time, however, a cloud as small as a man's hand could be seen. The cloud rapidly increased in size until the Heavens were black and rain flooded the parched earth. In verse 46 Elijah had told Ahab to hurry home because the creek would soon rise and he would not be able to cross it. But Elijah began to run. Why? Because he is a man of like passion as we are. We read then about the challenge that Elijah gave to Israel. "Call everybody to Mount Carmel," Elijah told Ahab (verse 19). Although Ahab was the king, he feared Elijah. So he did what he was told and called the Israelites to Mount Carmel.

Then the prophets of Baal put the ox on the altar and began to jump and shout and scream. Nothing happened. They cried louder still and cut themselves and raved for over six hours. But nothing happened.

How many hours they prayed! I sometimes think of these Baal worshippers when I see Christians who don't have a good conscience shouting Hallelujahs;

When brothers who are not on talking terms stand in the same meeting and praise God with loud voices; when husbands and wives who have fought with each other come to the Sunday meeting and speak in tongues, etc.

Many Christian meetings have a lot of noise, but no fire. You can shout for six hours, or even have an all night prayer meeting. But nothing happens, because God looks for a good conscience.

I always tell Christians, "Before you start praying, make sure that God has picked up the telephone and is listening. If you have sin in your heart, God will not hear you." (Psalms 66:18).

To prove that there was no secret fire under his altar, he asked for 12 pitchers of water to be poured on the altar. Then he prayed - for less than a minute. "O Lord let it be known that Thou art God and that I am thy servant” (18:36).

The fire fell and all the people fell on their faces and acknowledged that the Lord was the true God. With all Israel now on his side, Elijah caught the 450 prophets of Baal and killed them all.
